Rural connectivity

Reliable internet where the cable doesn’t reach.

Starlink, cellular and wireless bridges, bonded into one connection that keeps working when any single link doesn’t. Designed for ranches, resorts, farms and remote offices across Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties.

01 / The connections

No single rural connection is reliable on its own. We look at what can reach your property, then combine two or more so they back each other up.

Starlink

Low-latency satellite internet almost anywhere with a clear view of the sky. We plan the mount, the cable run and the power, and pair it with a second connection so a storm or an obstruction isn’t an outage.

Multi-carrier cellular (LTE/5G)

Routers with more than one modem and SIM, so you can run Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile side by side and use whichever carriers actually reach your property. External antennas when the signal needs help.

Point-to-point & multipoint wireless

Unlicensed radio bridges that carry a connection from where the service is to where you need it — between buildings, across a ranch, or out to a gate camera — after a line-of-sight survey.

Planned on site, not from a map

We start with a walk of the property.

Terrain, trees, sky view and carrier coverage change from one side of a hill to the other. Before we recommend anything, we measure.

  • Line-of-sight and path surveys for wireless bridges
  • Cellular signal testing on each carrier, at the spot the antenna will go
  • Starlink placement checked for obstructions
  • Battery-backed network cores that ride through power outages
  • Remote monitoring, so we often know a link is down before you do

02 / Peplink SpeedFusion

Many connections. One that never drops.

SpeedFusion is Peplink’s bonding technology. A Peplink router at your site builds an encrypted tunnel over every connection to a SpeedFusion endpoint in the cloud, which hands your traffic to the internet as a single, steady connection.

Bandwidth bonding

SpeedFusion combines every connection you have — Starlink, two or three cellular carriers, a wireless bridge — into one encrypted tunnel. A single download, upload or video call can use all of them at once, instead of being stuck on whichever link it started on.

Seamless failover, without dropped sessions

Ordinary failover waits for a link to die, then reconnects everything on the backup — and your calls, VPNs and remote sessions drop. With SpeedFusion Hot Failover the tunnel is already up on every link, so traffic moves to a working connection in under a second and the session carries on.

WAN Smoothing

For the traffic that matters most — voice, video, point-of-sale, remote desktop — SpeedFusion can send copies of each packet over more than one link. Whichever copy arrives first is used, so packet loss and jitter on a single connection never reach the call.

Diagram: packets sent over WAN 1 and WAN 2 at the same time, so a packet lost on one link is replaced by its copy from the other

Forward Error Correction

Forward Error Correction (FEC) adds a small amount of recovery data to the stream, so packets lost on a noisy cellular or satellite link can be rebuilt at the other end instead of re-sent. It protects real-time traffic with far less extra bandwidth than full duplication — a good fit when every megabit is metered.

Which to use when

  • Bonding for big transfers, backups and everyday browsing
  • Hot Failover for anything that can’t reconnect gracefully
  • WAN Smoothing for voice, video and payments
  • FEC for real-time traffic on metered or lossy links

In practice

Elk Country RV Resort & Campground

A remote resort stuck with high-latency satellite internet. We built a multi-WAN connection from several Starlink terminals plus Verizon and T-Mobile LTE, bonded through Peplink SpeedFusion for failover — then added fully managed IT, a guest Wi-Fi portal and site-wide video surveillance.

  • Starlink
  • Multi-carrier LTE
  • SpeedFusion
  • Guest Wi-Fi
